January 17, 2009 (Day Fourteen)

Saturday is normally a day of hustle and bustle with flurries of movement. Usually, Saturday is a day off from work. Typically spent in getting all of things done we didn’t get accomplished through the week. This Saturday is different. Today you have fourteen days of sacrifice and willful consecration on your journey of discovery. This discovery is causing you to relinquish your flesh to the Spirit. Romans 6:16 shows us that the choice is solely ours, “Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves slaves to obey, you are that one’s slaves whom you obey, whether of sin leading to death, or of obedience leading to righteousness?” We are all either slaves to sin and death, or we have bound ourselves to obedience and righteousness. This Saturday is a day for you to choose obedience to God, and rest in His completed labor on the Cross.

The choice for Lordship of your life is made simple in Romans 13:14, “But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, to fulfill its lusts.” Your freedom is found in choosing to release your will to God. Walk in the Spirit! Galatians 5:16 declares the reward, “Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh.” You have the ability to make a mental decision, fortified by a spiritual revelation, to walk in divine protection and fulfillment! No one else can make that decision for you. I have found that at this point in my Breakthrough Fasting & Prayer the choice is easy to make.

I am so happy for the spiritual growth you have experienced. You are breaking barriers that have held you for months. Tomorrow you will be attending Sunday Worship Service. Begin right now to allow your faith to create expectancy for the miraculous. Get on the phone and call someone to share the service with you. Matthew 18:20 guarantees, “For where two or three are gathered together in My name, I am there in the midst of them.” You will receive what you are expecting! Set your spiritual sights high! Your fasting is resulting in a powerful work of the Holy Spirit. Expect that work to manifest in your life! Stay the course and finish strong!

John 15:4 provides faith to finish strong, “Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.”

Send me your testimony of deliverance and breakthrough. Email it to me at pastor@clfn.org. I can’t wait to hear what God has done for you. I am standing with you in faith today for every breakthrough you desire in God!

Numbers 6:24-26 “The LORD bless you and keep you; The LORD make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; The LORD lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.”

Blessings & Peace,

PG
